Gorgeous Rootbeer Bronze Pearl 1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne shortbed fleetside pickup. Restoration started 5 years ago on an original AZ truck with no major body damage or rust ever. Professionally painted to show quality using top quality PPG basecoat/ clearcoat. Bodywork performed was very good and the truck is very straight, fully sanded and buffed. If you compared this truck to others at a car show, the paint/body quality would be better than 85-90% of the other vehicles. Original 402 Big block engine was completely rebuilt. Upgraded with a mild Crane Cam and Roller rockers, MSD ignition with Taylor wires, Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, 750 cfm Carb, and headers. Engine backed by a Turbo 400 automatic transmission upgraded with an 1800 stall convertor and B&M Shift Kit. Exhaust is 2-1/2 inch with Flowmaster 2 chamber mufflers. (sounds Healthy) Suspension was completely gone through and upgraded. Power steering and power disc brakes up front. 3" dropped upper and lower control arms. All new front end bushings with sway bar. 5" dropped rear provided by a flip kit and C sectioned frame. Rear end is a 12 bolt w/ 3.40 gears. Billet grille by Carriage works, rear rolled pan and tonneue cover. Bed is rhino lined. Spare and jack included. This truck is loaded with options including power steering, power brakes, factory AC upgraded to R-134 A coolant, power door locks, and security system. Has a JVC CD player with Sony speakers. Custom interior with center console. Very detailed dash that matches the trucks exterior. Billet Specialties Vin Tec steering wheel. Tinted windows all around. Windshield was new, the rest of the glass is very clean. Rolls on fully polished Torq Thrust 2 18" rims. (spare matches) This truck has been finished for 3 years and has had 9300 miles put on her since the restoration was completed. It has some chip touch ups here and there from use, but overall still shows very well. (Most are on the front of the hood)The tonneau cover has put some rub marks in the paint on the top of the bed rails, but you only see them when the cover is up. ( I have never had a truck with a hard cover that would not do that) The undercarriage is basically original and clean for a "driver" which is what this truck was built for. Overall the truck is very reliable and will win shows wherever you take it. One of the best driving 67-72 GM pickups I have owned.
