1963 Buick Riviera
1963 Buick Riviera Custom owned and built by one of my employees. Full restoration completed 4 years ago. body was stripped to bare metal, epoxy primed, then painted in an RM jet black single stage. Very nice job, straight and fully sanded and buffed. Custom tailights from Hagens were molded into the Tailight panel. Bumpers were re-chromed along with the turn signal and headlight grilles. The rest of the chrome and stainless is in great shape with the exception of some minor pitting in the D/S mirror and both vent window frames. All glass is nice with the exception of a rub mark on the d/s door glass. Power windows all work great, but they rattle a little when down because the channel felt is worn from age. The engine and transmission were pulled from the car. Engine was resealed, automatic transmission was rebuilt. Rebuilt water pump, carb, and alternator. New radiator, belts, and hoses. All brake components are new with the exception of the drums which were turned. All new lines, hoses, wheel cyl., shoes, springs, and power master cylinder. Full air ride system w/ Shock Waves up front, cool ride in the back. New dual exhaust with smittys. New interior finished as original. Diamond pattern vinyl covers original wood grain on dash and console. Door panels are in great shape, but have a few cracks next to the pull handles. car also has power steering and tilt wheel. Rolls on new supremes and wide white radial tires. This car won the "slick and smooth" at the Goodguys Rhinebeck show. Car is located in Connecticut.
