1926 Ford T Roadster
1984 Detroit Autorama 1st place winning 1926 T roadster that just came out of careful storage. Very rare All steel original Henry Ford Sheetmetal. Car was built by  40 year Chrysler engineer Dennis Fox who ran Chryslers engine testing/ dyno room.(Foxy as known by his friends) Started building the car in 1966 and was completed in the late 70's. Engine is a 426 Hemi he acquired from Chrysler Motors Corporation. Chassis was built by Logghe Stamping Co. who were famous for building all of the big name altered and funny car chassis in the late 60's and 70's. Logghe was the first to make a flip top funny car chassis, this body flips up also to reveal the fully polished and chrome drivetrain. All of the one off hand made billet aluminum parts were made by Dennis including the chain driven Mooneyham 671 blower, adapter for the Ford inline 4 Barrel 1000cfm carburator, aluminum fan and shroud, and brass dash. Polished reverse pattern push button 727 auto and chromed posi 8-3/4 rear end. Original 16 gallon Moon tank fully polished in the bed. Brake lines are ran through the custom tube Logghe Chassis as well as the fuel lines. Custom Lake style Headers were hand made by Dennis. This car was never restored and still shows like new. Went into storage after it took 1st place at the Detroit Autorama in 1984. I have a stack of original receipts from the late 60's to mid 70's which include Gratiot auto Supply, Ramchargers, Logghe Stamping Co. , and Chrysler Motor Corporation among numerous others. (the book is 4" thick) I also have the 1st place trophy from the Autorama and the original bill of sale from 1966. These receipts alone are collectors items to anyone familiar with the drag racing craze of the late 60's, early 70's, not to mention that they help fully document this car. This is one of the best running cars in my shop, even though it is the most radical. Estimated 850hp, blower is slightly overdriven. It will run on pump gas, but I run some race fuel mixed with pump for extra I love the smell. This car runs and drives very nice, much better than any other T i've owned. I probably dont have to mention this but if you floor it she will burn rubber until you let your foot up. This car was built to the highest standards with no exspense spared. Unrestored condition since it was finished in the late 70's, a 10+ year project. Not only are you buying a beautiful handcrafted car, you are buying a piece of history with plenty of documentation to prove it.
