1972 911T Targa. Solid AZ car that has had no rust or major body repairs ever. Previous owner of 20 years had the car completely restored about 8 years ago with only 5,000 miles since restoration. Total miles on car believed to be 53,000 but title reads exempt due to age. Show quality paint and body in a variant of the cars original color, Aubergine. (purple) It is now more af a Maroon Metallic, very stunning color. Laser straight body panels and paint is fully sanded and buffed. Excellent body gaps throughout. All of the body rubber and weatherstripping was replaced at that time. All chrome and stainless is very nice. Interior was originally tan Leatherette with houndstooth inserts but was upgraded to Leather with modern wool carpets. Beautiful original dashboard with no cracks. Stereo system was upgraded with very high quality components. Engine was upgraded to a 3.2 Carrera with Electronic fuel injection. These engines are well regarded as the most reliable of all the flat sixes. The car still retains its original 915 5 speed transmission that shifts flawlessly. Undercarriage is original and solid. Most of these cars have been patched up over the years due to rust. Trunk is clean with new carpet. Battery was upgraded to a Drycell Optima. Targa top was just recovered in and out, seals are original and in OK shape, they have a little wear from age but are still soft. Wheels were upgraded with fully polished 16″ Fuchs.
