1948 Harley davidson Panhead Chopper. We bought this bike about 6 months ago, it was a matching cases 48 engine w original frame that was uncut with the exception of the toolbok bracket. It had alot of aftermarket stuff, tanks, front end, etc. So we decided to make a chopper out of it. Fully rebuilt matching belly #’s 48FLxxxx engine. Nice uncut 48 frame ( we were careful not to mess it up) Fully rebuilt 4 speed transmission with Jims mainshaft and gears. 1-1/2″ belt drive primary eliminates the usual primary oil mess. S&S E carb, upgraded cam, and Sputhe engineering cam cover with electronic ignition. Cycle electric internally regulated 12volt generator. We custom made the pipes then nickel plated them. Custom Ape hangers w/ internal throttle. hand made seat with english springs, 3-1/2 gallon tanks narrowed in the rear. Early Ford rear fender. We made the aluminum oil tank with sight tube. Custom springer front end. New 16″ rear and 21″ front w/ Metzler tires. PM rear disc brake. Custom “fauxed” paint by our own “Johnny Vegas.” Full build and all custom fab work done in-house by Clay Forrey. This bike is jockey shift and kick only. Very easy kicking bike that starts on the first kick nearly every time. This bike is brand new and ready to enjoy. Titled as a 1948 Harley Davidson.
